Azizi Developments, based in the United Arab Emirates, has announced that it has signed with Athens Technical Services for the supply and installation of French brand Tarkett vinyl flooring for the gymnasiums of its community project in waterfront, Riviera at MBR City, Dubai.
A Dubai-based entity, Athens Technical Services is renowned for providing some of the most exceptional flooring material options, including Tarkett, a French brand known until 2008 as Sommer-Allibert SA.
Tarkett SA is a multinational specialized in the production of floor and wall coverings. Based in La Défense, near Paris, the company was created in October 1997 by the merger of two companies – the French Sommer-Allibert and the German Tarkett AG.
Commenting on the new contract, CEO Farhad Azizi said, “We are delighted to partner with another outstanding supplier. Athens Technical Services has an excellent track record, and the brand we buy from them for our gym flooring – Tarkett – is market leader. in quality and designs.”

Azizi also recently tapped German group Ithara to supply additional play equipment and outdoor furniture for its flagship Riviera project.
Under the agreement, Ithara Group will provide chessboards, seesaws, slides, seesaws, chairs for movie nights, and outdoor spaces and podiums, among other additions, improving outdoor spaces and children’s play areas. in 17 buildings of the third phase of Riviera.
Ithara, a German company well known for its quality playgrounds and outdoor furniture, was selected as the best fit for Riviera’s high quality standards.
